During the renaissance time in Milan, trade and economy was great from 1300 to 1400 ad. From 1300 through1400

dominated the European in trade. Italy remained a leader in the production of
luxury goods
such as works of art and fine silk cloth even after the balance shifted. Italy sold a variety of products. But Milan specailized in metal. Manufacturing and trading. They manufactured and sold metal like armor and weapons. Milan was one of the most northern city-states which made the cities strategic location along trade lines made it perfect for them. Milan controlled trade throughout the aps. They controlled a sait in the
silk road
. The silk road use to be one of the biggest
trade routes
throughout all of the East.
Italy used merchants in Milan largest business organization to carry on their activities across
Europe
. Milan provided banks and had bank services for government and other merchants in Europe. The economy in Milan was really good
